There are two cruise ports in Singapore – the older, Singapore Cruise centre at The Sentosa Harbourfront and Marina Bay Cruise centre, opened in 2012.
Singapore Cruise centre has been recently remodelled and features numerous shops, restaurants and cafes, most with free WiFi. There is also a post office for those eager to send postcards home. Navigating through the complex may be difficult, so getting a map is highly recommended. Taxis are available in general. There is also an MRT station, Bus Interchange stop and cable car links to Sentosa island and Mount Faber, all of those within walking distance from the Cruise centre. Changi International Airport is 20 minutes away by car and the city centre is minutes away by public transport.
The second and newest cruise port, Marina Bay Cruise is located at the southern tip of central Singapore, being close to both the airport and the city centre. The nearest MRT station is Marina Bay, only a 10-minute walk away. Bus number 402 stops by the cruise port and a single fare costs about S$2.00. Make sure you have exact change as the bus drivers do not carry change.
